The Flowing Hair half dime of 1794–1795 was the first large-scale regular issue of the denomination. The obverse shows Liberty with flowing hair facing right, with LIBERTY above and the date below; the reverse depicts a small eagle perched within an open wreath. Like other early half dimes, it carries no mark of value.
